Our health & safety policies
We will continue to update the information on this page as we receive additional information and guidelines from health authorities.
As we prepare to return to the new "normal" during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, Royce's Prop Shop is taking a proactive approach to help protect the health and safety of our team, clients, and partners. Based on guidelines from the CDC, WHO, and Event Safety Alliance, our event safety committee has created our set of internal best practices.
We continue to reach out to other industry leaders to adapt and evolve our practices, working in conjunction with our clients and partners so that we can all feel comfortable in getting back to work.
Actions we will take in the office and our warehouses:
Temperature checks for all crew and office staff upon arrival
Daily sanitation of common spaces and surfaces (including delivery vehicles) with EPA approved products
Placement of hand sanitizer and wipes throughout the office and warehouses
Crew members will wash hands thoroughly every 30 to 60 minutes
Maintain recommended physical distancing from others as much as possible
All team members will wear appropriate PPE while at work
Actions we will take on job sites:
Team members will be provided with a fresh FDA certified 3-ply disposable face mask and a pair of disposable gloves for each set and strike
Coordinate with clients, venues, and other vendors to avoid overlapping set and strike times whenever possible
Wipe down decor surfaces upon completion of set up with EPA approved products
Reduce number of crew members to allow for greater physical distancing
Maintain a 6' physical distance whenever possible between crew members, and at all times from clients, venue personnel, and others onsite
Thank you to our clients, partners, and friends for your continued support! Please reach out to us if you have any questions about these policies.
We look forward to celebrating together again!
