  • Portland Trail Blazers Game On 2016

It was another great year working with the Portland Trail Blazers Foundation on their annual fundraising event, “Game On”. For this event we helped create multiple customized games and stations, each marked with illuminated Plexiglas tower signage. We also designed and built a custom game show stage set for the main event. We always have fun working on this event, thanks Blazers, Game On!

  • Slalom Consulting Reboot

“Keep Portland Weird ” was our mantra for the Slalom Reboot retreat. We brought the creative, eclectic energy of our fair city to the indoors with funky arrangements of furniture, food carts, tree clusters, and even a bike lane provided for performing cyclists. Centerpieces included assorted groupings of wildflowers, mini-evergreen trees, and a unique collection of antique items. The second evening, titled “Channel your Flannel” incorporated a fashionable mix of plaid table runners and matching pennant lines that further imbued a hipster spin on the Portland theme.

  • Bravo! Live 2016

This year’s booth at Bravo Live! boasted two styles of décor: Rustic Chic and Classic Modern. Our Rustic Chic booth was inspired by all things Pacific Northwest; an oversized bicycle chandelier created a memorable focal point over the booth while a reclaimed wood wall with gas pipe lighting featured large Edison bulbs. Pallet walls accented with fresh floral and wood-stained logos created a new spin on a classic piece of décor. Our modern side of the booth mixed white upholstered walls with boxwood greenery for an interesting take on a “Garden Party” while the white leather furniture accented by silver beaded pillows created a stylish sensibility that was classic and contemporary all at once. Royce’s Prop Shop is proud to have made an appearance at every Bravo Live! tradeshow since 1995.

  • Tiffany Autism White Party

This year we decided to change things up a bit for the annual White Party by Tiffany Autism. The classic "all white" look was updated with touches of silver and greenery. White chiffon created a simple yet elegant ceiling treatment for guests while the boxwood greenery panels brought a bit of the outdoor gardens to the interior space. Silver vases and lattice votives added a touch of sparkling contrast to the white tablescapes, complementing the all white floral centerpieces.

  • Tulsi Wedding 2016

We were honored to decorate this elaborate wedding at Venue 252 in Eugene, Oregon that was our largest event in the summer of 2016. This tremendous affair consisted of six ceremonies over the course of two days. Each event maintained its own look with unique color schemes and décor elements for 350 guests. Our favorite piece of décor boasted cherry blossoms, crystal bead chandeliers, and over a thousand fresh flowers creating an elegant mandap for the bride and groom's wedding ceremony. Not to be outdone, the crisp lines of the ice curtains (provided by Iceovation) contrasted by the elegant drape treatment on the reception stage created a look that was elegant and modern. Congratulations to the bride and groom!

  • Engagement Party

This engagement party consisted of a ceremony and a reception for 500 guests at the Red Lion Hotel on the River. The intricate draping on stage created an elegant backdrop for the entire evening. Rich gold linens and purple floral accentuated the color scheme, creating an overall look that was festive and sophisticated. Over 1,000 orchid blossoms lined the aisle to the stage, creating a dramatic entrance for the happy couple.

  • OCC F&B Tasting

We teamed up with the Oregon Convention Center as they hosted a private food and beverage tasting for prospective clients. The goal was to create an intimate setting to demonstrate the potential of the convention center as a meeting place for smaller groups. We used the party invitation to develop every aspect of the décor. From custom sewn linens, to eclectic wood finishes and beautiful, unique centerpieces this event was a great success! It’s always a pleasure working with our friends at OCC.

Welcome to Rip City! We are excited to be providing décor for the Portland Trail Blazers as they compete in the Playoffs. This year’s décor included an impressive wall display featuring a life sized image of each individual player, and brand new “Rip City” tables with a sleek, metallic finish. The outdoor stage towers high with red, black, and white feather banners; while the columns throughout Moda are wrapped with Blazers graphics. We are proud to represent Portland’s Trail Blazers and support them in the playoffs. Go Blazers!

  • Riya Wedding 2016

This beautiful wedding consisted of multiple ceremonies in three different cities over the span of a week; each event displayed bright colors and had their own unique elegance. Guests danced the night away at the Garba ceremony in a vibrant display of pink and lavender with an impressive array of light on the ceiling. Soft hues of peach and salmon shined in tones of pink against crystal beads for the wedding ceremony. For a finishing touch, a gorgeous round mandap was the focal point of the stage at the reception with a draped ceiling in rich ivory crystalline.

  • Employee Party

The Oregon Convention Center was transported in time with a "Back to the Future" employee party. We picked our favorite moments from the film series and created a unique experience that was sure to impress any fan. The Delorean was parked on stage with all the trappings from Marty and Doc’s adventures, creating the focal point of the ballroom and the backdrop for a dramatic center bar station. A bolt of “lightning” connected the time machine to the Hill Valley Courthouse tower at 10:04 and Lou's Café boasted of fun, nostalgic diner fare. Guests enjoyed Colt's travelling firearm shooting game while the stage transitioned from the Enchantment Under the Sea Prom in the 50's to the 80's for a dance party. Like Marty McFly once said, “If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything” Even if that something is recreating Back to the Future for over 1,300 guests.

  • Umpqua Awards Gala 2016

This year Umpqua Bank had their annual Celebration of Excellence at The Nines, a luxurious hotel in downtown Portland. Through the use of specialty lighting, step and repeat patterns, and white carpet we created a classic, contemporary stage that captured the glamor of the Oscars. Silver sequin linens and modern floral centerpieces brought the drama of the stage to the tables. The look continued into the after party with white leather and chrome furniture, pintuck walls, and Umpqua Blue up lighting. We are proud to have worked with Umpqua for the past 15 years for their décor needs.

  • Fundraiser

Every year KT events works with a non-profit called India Partners to throw two fundraisers, one in Eugene and the other in Portland. This year the traditionally dinner gala event was drastically transformed into an evening of interactive activities. We created a mini street scene in India with a fabric stall where saris were sold, a fruit and vegetable market for guests to "grocery" shop featuring coconut water served from fresh coconuts, and a marketplace booth full of food and other merchandise from India. Proceeds from this event support social projects across India.
